A storyboard based on the script from the film “Kramer VS Kramer” and no other context given. This storyboard was good practice for creating a dramatic scene and using camera movements. A storyboard about Chex trying to get used to living college life. As his anxiety overcomes him and he tries to get away. He stumbles upon a dragon named Laika, who helps him calm down from his anxiety attack. This was one of my first practices with storyboarding but I feel is a strong example of the storytelling of my original characters. Made with: Procreate, IPad Air, Apple Pen. Made in 2022
The second part to The Legends of Seltsam where Laika shows Chex a portal that can transport others to a land called Seltsam. When Chex goes to inspect the portal, a beam of magic is set off from it, which unleashes a monster that was trapped inside the college campus. Here’s the storyboard for the animatic where I recreated a scene from the Part 5 Lupin the Third series where the world’s greatest thief, Lupin III, Inspector Zenigata, and Ami have a nice conservation by the campfire. This was practice for creating interesting camera compositions and creating original shots and character interactions that are different from the original source.
